Finnish authorities have stated that there is no military threat from Russia.

The representative of the republic to NATO, Klaus Korhonen, said that there are no direct military threats from Russia in Finland, and even more so, nuclear ones.

There is every minute control over the situation, and in case of a noticed threat, actions will be taken.

“To date, there are no direct military threats to Finland from Russia,” says Korhonen.

According to the diplomat, to date, no active hostilities have been detected on the Finnish border and it is safe, adding that “we are very far from any kind of nuclear situation.”
