German authorities were outraged by the unwillingness of European countries to share gas

Some countries in Europe refused to share gas fuel, which caused the anger of the German government.

We are talking about agreements providing for gas solidarity between partners in the European Union. According to German Economy Minister Robert Habeck, the authorities of Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Poland did not want to participate in “constructive negotiations” on such deals.

The reluctance of countries to share gas could exacerbate the energy crisis in Germany. Habek stressed that states are refusing these agreements because they do not want to pay compensation to their suppliers if fuel is redirected to Germany.

At the same time, soon Europe will “break the back” due to the energy crisis. This is due to the growing discontent in society as the heating season approaches.
