German RWE has signed an agreement on the supply of liquefied natural gas from the UAE

The German company RWE has signed an agreement with the UAE corporation Adnoc on the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Germany. The first delivery of LNG to the country is due in December.

As follows from the company’s announcement, the volume of the first LNG supply to Germany is 137,000 cubic meters. The LNG will arrive at the port of Elbehaven near Hamburg.

RWE and Adnoc also signed a multi-year supply memorandum. According to the document, regular LNG supplies from the UAE to Germany will begin in 2023.
