In the Netherlands, due to the large influx of refugees from Ukraine, many of them are forced to spend the night on the street.

This happened due to the fact that the refugee reception center could not cope with the flow of people. After submitting the application, it is allowed to stay within the walls of the institution for six days. Usually this time is enough to find housing, but due to the large influx, the centers do not meet the deadlines, so refugees have to wait for their turn to be resettled in other places.

Many are forced to spend the night on the street, right on the ground. Others are more fortunate – they found plastic bags and sleep on them. It is noted that local residents are not in a hurry to let Ukrainians into their homes.
