Heavy rains in China have killed 15 people.

Fifteen people have died and four are still missing in heavy rains in the southwest Chinese city of Chongqing, China Central Television reported, citing local authorities.

From July 3 to July 4, Wanzhou County was hit by heavy rains, according to TV reports.

As of 10 am on July 5, 36 settlements in the district, as well as 37,226 people, were affected by heavy rains, of which more than 11.5 thousand people need to be evacuated, 779 were evacuated, 15 died, 4 are missing, TV reported.
