In Germany, after a two-year ban, fireworks were allowed again.

In Germany, after the end of the pandemic, fireworks were again allowed to be sold and set off, but on the very first day there were incidents – a policeman was injured.

In the past two years, the sale of New Year’s fireworks in Germany has been legally prohibited. The temporary ban was to help avoid crowds during the coronavirus pandemic and additional strain on hospitals from patients injured in fireworks incidents.

Among other things, the government with this ban met doctors and environmentalists, who warned about the harm to people and the environment of fine dust, which is formed during explosions and burnout of gunpowder.
