According to a police source, the attack took place in the morning in a park near Lake Annecy in the department of Haute-Savoie.

Children are about three years old. Three of them are in critical condition, a source in the department’s prefecture told the agency. In addition, one adult was injured.

The attacker was arrested. The source claims that this is a Syrian who applied for asylum in France.
