Iran expelled two German diplomats.

Iran has declared two German diplomats persona non grata over Berlin’s interference in Tehran’s internal affairs, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said on Wednesday.

Persona non grata (from the Latin persona non grata – an undesirable person) – in diplomatic practice, a diplomat declared by the authorities of the host country as an undesirable person.

“The representative of the Foreign Ministry Kanaani announced the expulsion of two German diplomats as undesirable persons after the interventionist and irresponsible actions of the German government to interfere in the internal, in particular judicial, affairs of the Islamic Republic,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Telegram channel said in a statement.
