Iran, Oman strengthen trade and economic cooperation

Iran’s Ambassador to Oman Ali Najafi and Minister of Commerce Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef have met on Wednesday. The agenda included issues of their economic and trade cooperation amid the coronacrisis, Mehr News says.

Iranian envoy to Oman Ali Najafi announced his country’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with Oman. Despite the non-stop coronacrisis, the two nations are strengthening their joint projects as much as possible.

According to the Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry, Muscat hails further promoting cooperation in industry and trade field. Mutually benefiting trade strengthen the ties between the countries.

Referring to the capacities, facilities and capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Najafi stressed that his priority as the diplomat is the development of economic and cultural relations. Traditionally, the trade and industry sectors are providing brilliant opportunities in this regard, an Iranian official said.

Ali Najafi also urged to remove of annoying obstacles and the provision of necessary facilities for Iranian economic actors. The small and medium business always was a healthy base for economic.

Commenting on the development and strengthening of relations and cooperation between Iran and Oman in the economic niche, Al Yousef expressed satisfaction with the held of 18th round of the Joint Commission in Iran last year.

Minister of Commerce Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef also expressed hope that the next round would be held in Muscat at the earliest opportunity.
