Israel announced the capture of an Islamic Jihad stronghold.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in its Telegram channel that it has taken control of the stronghold of the commander of the Northern Command of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip.

“Based on IDF intelligence, IDF troops took control of a stronghold of the commander of Islamic Jihad’s Northern Command. The stronghold contains the offices of the organization’s top terrorists and a strategic weapons production facility. During the raid, troops discovered heavy missiles, drones and other weapons. It is noted that the army carried out an operation at a school where Hamas fighters were hiding, several of them were destroyed. A large number of weapons were also found in the building, the army said.
