Italy urged its citizens to leave Ukraine.

The Italian Foreign Ministry, amid attacks on Kyiv, reminded citizens of the need to leave Ukraine, according to the Crisis Center of the Foreign Ministry.

For the first time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appealed to the Italians who are on the territory of Ukraine to leave the country in mid-February.

“Compatriots still in Ukraine are strongly advised to use available means, including trains, to leave the country outside the curfew period. This recommendation applies in particular to the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine due to the intensification of hostilities in these districts,” the crisis center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

All trips to Ukraine are considered highly undesirable, the department notes. Italians are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities and exercise caution.

“On Monday, October 17, new attacks took place in Kyiv and other cities of the country,” writes the Crisis Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a special portal.

The message contains information about the curfew and the need to be prepared to leave your home to move the shelter.
