Japanese authorities urged Ukrainian refugees to refuse to work in the local adult entertainment industry

Japanese authorities have urged Ukrainian refugees to refuse to work in the local adult entertainment industry. According to the Minister of Justice of the country, Yoshihisa Furukawa, there are too many such cases.

The minister noted that a lot of cases were registered by Ukrainian refugees who arrived in the country. He emphasized that such work in the adult entertainment segment violates the rules for staying in Japan.

In general, about 1055 Ukrainian refugees came to Japan, all were given a residence permit, but this does not give them the right to work in such places. The publication cites the opinion of Ukrainian women themselves, who believe that working in the sex industry is better than washing toilets in Europe.
