A number of landlords in Germany have begun to reduce the supply of hot water in the apartments due to a strong increase in gas and electricity prices

In 600 apartments in the city of Dippoldiswalde in Saxony, hot water will now be supplied from four to eight in the morning, from eleven in the morning to one in the afternoon and from five to nine in the evening. It is noted that tenants were outraged by this decision.

“This was, I heard from my grandmother, only after the [World War II] war. I don’t know how I will bathe my daughter,” said one of the tenants.

On July 4, the leader of Germany’s largest opposition party, the CDU (Christian Democratic Union), Friedrich Mertz, said that a struggle for access to gas could begin in Europe, so a fuel distribution plan should be prepared so that the countries of the region adhere to it and avoid serious conflicts.
