Latest ‘Jack Reacher’ is mediocre, say critics

Tom Cruise again struck at the heart of the fans, the role of Jack Reacher was performed perfectly, say the critics. The film is mediocre, this sequel didn’t justifiy the hopes, but the box office is encouraging producers day by day. Tom Cruise visited couple of shows these days, where he spoke in detail about the process of filming as well as he thanked colleagues for their teamwork. The film turned out a dynamic, full of action and… mediocre.

‘Jack Reacher’ with Tom Cruise, has been released this week. The Hollywood star returns as Jack Reacher in this sequel based on Lee Child’s bestselling novel ‘Never Go Back’, which finds the itinerant problem-solver accused of murder, and learning that he may have a child he has never met.

The director Edward Zwick did his best, the critics said about the movie “mediocre”, some of them weren’t too kind to this Cruise’s work. Barry Hertz from The Globe and Mail said:

“Earlier this week, an inventive YouTube user with possibly a lot of time on his or her hands posted a video titled, “Every Tom Cruise Run Ever.””

Top critic John Andersen from The Wall Street Journal added:

“Cruise wanders through “Never Go Back” like a man in search of a better movie.”
