LG’s Watch Style will be launched alongside the LG Watch Sport, last Sunday, thanks to the leak, the users were able to see the new model. This entry-level Style looks very laconic and, in some ways, old-fashioned, but the smartwatch is quite stylish, no doubt. But what about a price of the item?
Evan Blass’ leak gave us an opportunity to see the new creature of LG: band and color, probably, will not be changeable. If so, the price will not fluctuate too much, the start price tag of $249 hardly will be higher. The silver and rose gold versions of LG’s Watch Style look basically be mirror images apart from their colouring.
LG’s Watch Style: price suggestions
Given the Watch Sport adds LTE, NFC, a heart-rate monitor, GPS, and a bigger, higher-resolution display, it’s easy to suggest at least a $100 premium over the $249 Style.
Using as a base the similarly-equipped Urbane 2nd Edition at $359.99 on AT&T (see the video review above) from LG lab, the price tag of $349 is good a guess as any, though the customer wouldn’t be surprised if the price was a bit higher.
This year, LG seems fully supportive of Google’s attempt to revive the fledgeling smartwatch industry, which analysts predict to sustain sluggish and even declining growth in 2017.
