Macron promised to continue supplying defensive weapons to Ukraine.

Macron promised to continue supplying defensive weapons to Ukraine.

France will continue its military support to Ukraine, supplying it with anti-missile and other defense systems, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday.

“We are not a party to the conflict in Ukraine, but we provide humanitarian, economic and military support to it. And we must strengthen this support with the supply of anti-missile and other defense systems,” Macron said in an interview with France Inter radio station.

As the French leader noted, the international community must redouble its efforts so that Ukraine can survive this winter.

Earlier, Macron said that France is working with Denmark to supply Ukraine with six more CAESAR howitzers. Paris also plans to send Kyivuradars, air defense systems and missiles. The French media also wrote that France intends to supply Ukraine with about 20 Bastion armored personnel carriers.
