Mirwaiz lodged at Cheshma Shahi sub-jail in Srinagar

Mirwaiz was arrested and lodged at Cheshma Shahi sub-jail in Srinagar by the authorities of an occupied Kashmir. According to media, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, was arrested from outside his Nageen residence.

Mirwaiz is now at Cheshma Shahi sub-jail in Srinagar, where the Kashmir authorities decided to lodge him after arresting. On Friday, Mirwaiz defied his house detention and tried to lead Azadi march towards Eidgah in Srinagar. It was a great opportunity for puppet authorities in Kashmir to arrest this Chairman of Hurriyat forum. He was detained at Nigeen police station, then he was shifted to Cheshma Shahi sub-jail.

The Hurriyat forum spokesman released an official statement, in which condemns the detention. According to the document, Mirwaiz called to a spokesman at 6:30 PM on August 26, and informed that he was being shifted from Nigeen police station to some unknown place.
