Nickelodeon decided to show its first married gay couple in the Loud House: it’s a history, say critics. The popular network’s animated series and its gay characters are voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald.
The series from the Nickelodeon Loud House tells about 11-year-old Lincoln and 10 his sisters, whose life is totally chaotic, fun and very loud. Actually, such a topic for the cartoon series rose its creator Chris Savino: his life growing up in a big family is full of funny details and features.
A couple of married gays in Loud House are two dads of the best pal of Lincoln. These characters are voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald. The next episode is available to air on Nickelodeon on July 20 at 17:00.
Gay characters are relatively new for the kid auditory on Nickelodeon.In fact, such a characters have appeared on air already, but they’re often hinted at. The creators of the Legend of Korra showed it but not explicitly stated. In other cartoon series like The Simpsons and South Park LGBT characters have appeared for many years, but Nickrlodeon showed married couple of gays in the first time.
