Norway decided not to remember European solidarity by selling gas at a high price.

Norwegians in 2022 receive record revenues from the sale of gas, while the Europeans believe that their allies are acting ugly.

Norway was lucky this year and this year it will earn several times more from gas sales than last year. However, the country was faced with a choice: solidarity or greed. At the same time, Norway does not treat solidarity in the best way, wanting to earn more.

Gas prices in the world have increased many times, so Norway’s net profit will be at the level of €94 billion. At the same time, many European countries are outraged by the current situation and simply do not want to buy at a high price. The European Commission is discussing marginal prices for Norway, but the country does not react to this in any way.

The indignation of the European countries seems to be the hysteria of those who are left in a hopeless situation. However, the arguments about greed, after all, also sound very logical.

On October 9, it was reported that revenues from the oil and gas sector in Norway in 2022 will be four times higher than in 2021. The publication indicated that the income from the oil and gas sector in 2022 will be at the level of 1.17 trillion crowns (more than $109 billion).
