The British prime minister confirmed that the UK is ready to start the mass vaccination across the country. Many new vaccine centres will be available on a 24/7 basis, Boris Johnson said Wednesday.
Boris Johnson has shared plans on the round-the-clock inoculation. Further details will be given by PM’s health secretary as the government targets giving a dose of the jab to around 15 million people by mid-February.
PM Johnson said the lockdown measures seem to be working, and the 24/7 inoculation will definitely help to curb the pandemic.
Commenting on the soon start of the round-the-clock vaccination centres, Starmer had stressed that further and tougher measures will be needed as the situation is worse now.
As of Wednesday, 2.4 million people have been vaccinated to date in Britain. According to the PM plans, vaccinations are now being offered to four top priority groups.
