Poland has already delivered 10 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak said in an interview after meeting with his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand in Ottawa.

Blaszczak’s speech is broadcast by Polish TV.

In April of this year, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced that Warsaw would transfer 14 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. At the same time, he added that in the future, the entire MiG-29 fleet remaining in Poland could be transferred to Ukraine, if necessary.

In April 2023, Duda also stated that over the entire period of events in Ukraine, more than 1% of GDP was spent on military assistance to Kyiv.
