Poland will transfer several companies with the participation of the Russian Federation under compulsory management for sale

The Polish authorities intend to transfer the companies with Russian participation that fell under sanctions in the republic under compulsory management for the purpose of sale. This was stated on Tuesday by the Minister for Development and Technology of Poland, Waldemar Buda, at a press conference following a government meeting at which the relevant law was adopted.

“We have made an important decision to introduce the institution of the so-called temporary compulsory administration,” he said, explaining that this would be a body working with firms that are subject to restrictive measures. “This rule will allow managing an enterprise that has fallen under sanctions in order to sell it, and will also ensure the interests of employees,” Buda said.
