Pope Francis confirms he’s a huge fan of Benedict XVI

The Rome Popes are extraordinary persons, they able to do the things that ordinary people can not. The latest example is small, but the unprecedented ceremony at the Vatican. On June 29, Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI celebrates the 65th anniversary of his priestly ordination, the fantastic career, and unbelievable life. During the ceremony, the current Pope Francis confessed that he is the huge fan of his predecessor Benedict XVI.

The Pope Francis and his colleague Benedict XVI are very wise persons, that’s why these unordinary men have a great respect for each other. Their cooperation proves common intention to make a Catholic church better, especially after the waves of sex-abusive scandals.

On Wednesday, Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI is celebrating a special day. On June 29, 1951, he became a priest, so today Vatican celebrates his 65th anniversary of priestly ordination. There were no precedents of such a ceremony at the palace of Vatican, but Pope Francis decide to show his personal respect to Benedict XVI, being organized this event.

In the prologue of his book, Pope Francis praises his predecessor, calling Benedict XVI a “kneeling” theologian, meaning that before being a great “teacher of the faith,” the pope emeritus is a man who “embodies holiness, a man of peace, a man of God.”
