Prime Minister of Poland called for lower gas prices in Europe

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called on the EU to develop a pricing mechanism that would reduce gas prices in Europe.

According to the politician, he held talks with representatives of Denmark, Finland and Estonia, discussing the issue of changing the approach to energy pricing. Moreover, such proposals “fell on good ground,” Morawiecki said.

“It is necessary to bring about changes, as a result of which we will be sure that the pricing mechanism in Europe, and therefore in Poland, will not depend on Russian gas,” the head of the Polish government said.
