Propane train derailed in Florida.

Propane train derailed in Florida.

A propane-carrying train derailed in Florida, local television channel 10 Tampa Bay reports.

“Five railcars left the tracks in the Bradenton area on Tuesday, including two propane tanks,” the report said.

According to Manatee County officials, no one was hurt and there were no spills of hazardous materials. Specialists intend to pump fuel from overturned tanks.

Local media footage shows damage to the roadway and wagons: the rails and sleepers on one of the spans are significantly displaced, the wheel sets are torn off from the overturned wagons.

This is at least the third incident with an accident in the United States in a month: on February 3, a freight train with hazardous chemicals derailed in Ohio, on February 21, a coal train derailed in Nebraska.
