Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter weds at Windsor Castle

Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter weds at Windsor Castle

Queen Elizabeth is a happy grandmother who attended another wedding day on Friday, her granddaughter Princess Eugenie tied a knot with Jack Brooksbank. For such an occasion, the monarch opted the powder blue costume and a hat.

Princess Eugenie’s long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank became the part of the British royal family at the same royal chapel inside Windsor Castle where another Queen’s grandkid married in May. On Friday ceremony, the Duchess of Sussex wasn’t in the bridal party, she’s simply enjoying the ceremony as a guest. This isn’t Markle’s first time attending a wedding with Prince Harry, in August, the royal couple attended to a friend’s wedding, coincided with Meghan’s birth date.

Princess Eugenie and Jacл Brooksbank took a carriage ride outside the castle following their ceremony. However, the crowd cheering them are expected to be much smaller than in May, while only one British broadcaster, ITV, will cover the event live. Several A-list celebrities are expected to attend the ceremony at St George’s Chapel, including George and Amal Clooney who became the good friends to the young generation of the British royal family.

Eugenie is the second daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who retains the title, Duchess of York. Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, 30, is her maid of honour.

Williams’ daughter Theodora and Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the children of Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, will be among the bridesmaids and page boys at the wedding.

The love story of Princess and Brooksbank is simple, they have been a couple since they met at the Swiss ski resort of Verbier in 2010. Jack proposed to Eugenie during a holiday in Nicaragua in January, according to the royal family.

Brooksbank tagged a “socialite” by British media, is the former manager of up-market London club Mahiki, now he is a brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila, co-founded by George Clooney who was invited to Jack’s wedding ceremony. Eugenie is eighth in line to the throne, behind her uncle, Prince Charles, his sons Prince William and Prince Harry, and her sister Beatrice.
