The head of the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin Roskosmos will offer Russian airlines to replace the equipment of the American GPS navigation system with GLONASS

“Today we will send to the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency our technical proposals for replacing GPS with GLONASS subscriber equipment, which will also be able to receive a navigation signal from the Chinese Beidou orbital navigation system,” Rogozin wrote.

This is the reaction of Rogozin to the publication in the media that the Federal Air Transport Agency recommended that air carriers prepare for a possible shutdown of GPS.
