Search and rescue operations after an explosion in a mine in northern Turkey have been completed, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez said.

The explosion occurred on Friday evening in a mine in the province of Bartin in northern Turkey. 41 people died.

“Search and rescue operations in Bartyn, which have been ongoing since yesterday evening, have been completed,” the minister said.
