“This is a signal from the Swedish Energy Agency to industry players and consumers connected to the gas network in the west of the country that the market is congested and there may be a deterioration in the supply situation,” the press release says.


According to the organization, at present the situation with gas supplies to the country remains stable. It is also noted that stocks are “sufficiently filled until the fall.


At the same time, the agency said that the deterioration of the situation will be accompanied by an increase in prices. According to preliminary data, the greatest risk of gas shortages may occur in the winter of 2022-2023.


Earlier, the Danish energy agency suggested that the gas supply situation could soon worsen. The organization indicated that an early warning regime was being introduced in the country due to uncertainty with gas supplies from Russia. The agency urged the citizens of the kingdom to save energy.
