Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger met each other on Christmas day

Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger met each other on Christmas day

Hollywood stars, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, congratulated each other with Merry Christmas and shared some photos on Instagram. Mr Olympia visited Sylvester Stallone’s home on Christmas Monday and brought plenty gifts for Sly’s big family.

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are two of the most iconic names in the history of cinema but they are good friends too. The Iron Arnie visited Stallone’s home on Monday, and Sylvester was happy to share a shot alongside the 70-year-old star of The Terminator on Instagram.

‘Well look who [dropped] by on Christmas!’ Stallone wrote. ‘@schwarzenegger always fills the room with positive energy!’

In the shot, posed in front of Sly’s famed Rocky statue, Stallone wore a white collared button-up shirt with black pants, while Schwarzenegger went festive with a red sweater with black pants.

The New York native, who’s currently working on the sequels to Creed and Escape Plan, also shared a shot he took with his family in front of the Christmas tree in their home. He posed with wife Jennifer Flavin and daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.

The two silver screen tough guys are not only good friends but colleagues as well, as they’ve co-starred in movies such as Escape Plan and The Expendables. In fact, it wasn’t always such a flawless relationship, however, as Schwarzenegger in October described the fierce professional rivalry that developed between them at this fall’s Beyond Fest in Los Angeles.

Undoubtedly, such kind of a real friendship between the ex-rivals is encouraging a lot – even in Hollywood, the people find the good friends and show their family how the friendship looks in reality.
