Syria expresses readiness for improved relations with DPRK

North Korea Ambassador to Syria welcomed Pyongyang’s readiness to improve relations between the two nations, KCNA reports.

During Mun Jong Nam’s meeting met with Milad Atiya from the Syrian foreign ministry on Dec 20, the sides have discussed the latest developments in the region.

The Syrian diplomat extended his congratulations to North Korea’s people for achieving great successes in the 80-day campaign under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

According to Milad Atiya, Syria is ready to strive to further strengthen the long-standing and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in all fields and to increase mutual support and collaboration at the United Nations and in the international community.
