TeamViewer announced the termination of activity in Russia

The German company-developer of software for remote access TeamViewer ends its activities in Russia and Belarus due to the situation around Ukraine.

As stated in the statement: “In addition to complying with all international sanctions and immediately stopping new business, we are also not renewing any contracts with customers from Russia or Belarus.”

It is noted that existing subscriptions will continue to work until their expiration date, but it will not be possible to renew them in the future. In addition, TeamViewer noted that they blocked all unlicensed connections from Russia and Belarus.

The company, as a support measure, provided free access to all organizations in Ukraine and decided to donate more than 750 thousand euros to the International Committee of the Red Cross for humanitarian assistance.
