The British Ministry of Defense spoke about the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to control the Challenger 2.

The British Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian servicemen are mastering the operation of Challenger 2 tanks.

“The tank crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine quickly mastered the operation of the Challenger 2 this week,” the ministry’s Twitter account said.

Earlier, British Deputy Defense Minister Alex Chuck said that the UK plans to supply Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine at the end of March, and training of the Ukrainian military to service them began on Monday this week. In turn, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said that British Challenger 2 tanks could arrive on the front line in Ukraine before the summer. Russia has previously sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo that contains weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia.
