The command of the US Armed Forces announced the elimination of one of the leaders of the ISIS in Syria.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the elimination in Syria of one of the leaders of the Islamic State terrorist group responsible for planning attacks in Europe.

“U.S. Central Command forces launched a unilateral strike in Syria on April 3, killing Khalid Ayyad Ahmed al-Jaburi, one of the leaders of IS  <…> who was responsible for planning IS attacks in Europe and developing the leadership structure for IS,” – according to a release posted on CENTCOM’s Twitter.


As noted, none of the civilians were injured during the operation.


The elimination of Khalid Ayad Ahmed al-Jaburi would temporarily disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to plan attacks abroad, according to CENTCOM.
