The French Prime Minister’s Secretary of State for the Social Economy and Public Life of France, Marlene Chiappa, has become the target of criticism from a number of prominent politicians because of the shooting and interview for Playboy magazine.

The issue of the magazine, with the photo of 40-year-old Shyappa on the cover, will go on sale on Thursday. There she poses in a white dress with a deep neckline and bare shoulders, with the numbers 49.3 on her chest. In the background is the French flag. The Playboy name is also in the national colors of blue, white and red.

The number 49.3 symbolizes the number of the article of the constitution, which French Prime Minister Elisabeth Born used on March 16 to pass a bill to raise the country’s retirement age from 62 to 64 years without a vote in parliament. This led to intensified protests across the country.

“I’m not a ‘mother of morals.’ But I ask myself: why choose Playboy to speak out for women’s rights, if all the most popular sexist stereotypes are collected in this magazine,” said Isabelle, French Minister for Gender Equality, answering the question whether she considers the choice of the magazine for an interview appropriate in the current conditions.

In a 12-page Playboy interview, Schyappa talks about feminism, power, seduction and sex.
Bourne spoke in a similar vein earlier. According to Figaro, she called the choice of publication “not the most appropriate, especially in this period when the country is engulfed in protests.”

After the announcement of the April issue of Playboy and the subsequent wave of criticism in social networks and the media, Shyappa posted a tweet explaining her decision.
