The G7 countries will discuss the situation in Ukraine on December 22, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.

The Foreign Ministers of the G7 countries will hold an online meeting on December 22, during which they are expected to discuss the latest situation in Ukraine and exchange views on future response measures, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“At about 21.30 on December 22, an online meeting of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries will take place for about an hour, in which Foreign Minister (Japan) Yoshimasa Hayashi will take part,” the statement says.


During the upcoming meeting, the parties “plan to share their understanding of the latest situation in Ukraine, exchange views on future response measures and reaffirm the countries’ cooperation as a G7.”
