The German government will allocate 15 billion euros for gas saving strategies

The German government will allocate 15 billion euros for measures to save gas by winter.

This follows from a document prepared by the German Ministry of Economics for the government. It states that gas consumption for electricity generation and industry must be reduced, and 15 billion euros are allocated to these strategies through the KfW credit bank.

As noted in the document, “gas consumption must continue to decrease, for this more gas must be supplied to the storage, otherwise it will be really hard in winter.”
