Hungarian Defense Minister Christoph Salai-Bobrovnicki instructed to strengthen the combat readiness of the country’s armed forces and conduct intensive exercises against the backdrop of what is happening in Ukraine and the influx of migrants from the south.

“In order to protect peace with us, I ordered the commander of the Hungarian armed forces, Romulus Rusin-Sendi, to prepare to increase the combat readiness of the armed forces,” said Salai-Bobrovnicki

According to him, the training of soldiers in large units will be intensified, training will be accelerated, and more reservists will be called up.

The minister stressed that Hungary is facing “unprecedented security challenges” due to the conflict in Ukraine and “violent illegal migrants besieging the country’s southern borders.

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was included in the database of the Ukrainian resource “Peacemaker”, where he was called an “anti-Ukrainian propagandist.”
