NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will host a meeting of the North Atlantic Council on the incident in Poland on Wednesday morning and will address reporters at the end of the meeting at approximately 12.30 pm Brussels time, the bloc’s press service said in a widespread statement.

Earlier, the media reported that the meeting of the NATO Council will be held at the level of permanent representatives of member countries.

“On Wednesday, November 16, the NATO Secretary General will hold a meeting of the North Atlantic Council on yesterday’s explosion in Eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine. After the meeting, the Secretary General will hold a media briefing at approximately 12.30,” the statement said.
