The poll showed that nearly 60 percent of Britons do not support Sunak.

Nearly 60% of people in the UK do not support Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, according to a survey by the British research company YouGov.

Sunak in October became the country’s third prime minister in 2022, the youngest leader of the British government since 1812 and the first prime minister of Indian origin in the history of the country.

According to the survey, 31% of citizens have a positive attitude towards the prime minister, 59% of the British spoke negatively.

In addition, the poll showed that the British have a better attitude towards the leader of the opposition and the head of the Labor Party, Cyrus Stammer. 35% of respondents expressed a positive assessment, 51% – negative.


The Labor Party was also ranked higher than the ruling Conservative Party in the poll. 41% of Britons support the Labor Party, 48% are against it. 22% supported the conservatives with 66% of negative assessments.


The survey was conducted from 14 to 15 May 2023. It was attended by 2012 people. Accuracy data are not given.
