The Prime Minister of Ukraine said that he had met with the Vice President of the World Bank.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal said that he had discussed joint projects to support Kyiv with Anna Bjerde, Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia.

“The implementation of joint projects in support of Ukraine was discussed today with World Bank Vice President Anna Bjerde. In particular, they outlined the prospects for continuing the PEACE in Ukraine initiative, which became the largest investment project in the history of the World Bank and played a decisive role in the financial macroeconomic stability of Ukraine,” – Shmygal wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, Bloomberg, citing an updated calculation of the World Bank, together with the European Commission and the UN, said that Ukraine would need at least $411 billion, or 2.6 times the size of GDP, for restoration and reconstruction.
