Swedish Attorney General Petra Lund has decided to cordon off the site of the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, follows from the text of the release on the website of the local Prosecutor General’s Office.

“As part of a preliminary investigation into the alleged serious sabotage at Nord Stream, the Prosecutor General decided to cordon off the scene in order to conduct an investigation at the crime scene,” the statement said.

At the same time, the department noted that now it cannot provide more detailed information and is not ready to answer questions from the media. It is specified that further details will be published later in a press release.
