The United States admitted lagging behind the BRICS countries in the issue of cooperation with African countries

The United States of America is lagging behind the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) in terms of cooperation with African countries, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said August 3, indicating that Washington will try to correct this situation.

“You are right, the United States is in the position of catching up in several areas,” he said, answering the question that for many years Washington has been lagging behind in terms of developing cooperation in this direction, which is why many African countries, including many African countries, do not support the position West regarding the situation around Ukraine.

Recently, a number of countries have shown increased interest in BRICS. Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Nigeria have already expressed their desire to join the organization. Iran and Argentina have already applied for membership.
