The US Air Force removed two commanders from their posts due to a loss of confidence.

Two American officers have been removed from command positions at the strategic bomber base due to a loss of confidence in their ability to carry out their duties, the US Long-Range Aviation Command said.

The publication on the Twitter account does not specify which of the personnel of the Mino airbase in the state of North Dakota was removed and for what offenses.

“Today, two commanders have been stripped of their commanding positions at Mino Air Force Base, North Dakota, due to a loss of confidence in their ability to carry out their duties,” the US Air Force Global Strike Command said in a statement.


Mino is home to the Fifth Bomber Wing, which is armed with B-52H strategic bombers, along with four service units.
