The US is orchestrating terrorists around Russia, the President of Nicaragua said.

Russia in Ukraine is waging a war for peace, surrounded by an “international terrorist orchestra” from NATO countries, conducted by the United States, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega said.

“NATO is chasing Russia, surrounding it with a lot of weapons, a lot of military bases, and the United States is conducting an international terrorist orchestra. A tough, difficult, painful situation has been created, the death of any person hurts,” Ortega said during a speech on the occasion of Peace Day in Nicaragua broadcast by Canal 4.

According to the president, who on Wednesday met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, they devoted part of the conversation to peace issues.
