The US military is aware of the multiple launches of North Korean ballistic missiles and does not see them as an immediate threat to itself and its allies, the US Indo-Pacific Command said.

“We are aware of the multiple launches of North Korean ballistic missiles today. We are assessing the situation and are closely consulting with our allies and partners,” the press release said.

“While this event does not pose an immediate threat to US personnel, US territory, or our allies, the missile launches highlight the destabilizing impact of North Korea’s illegal weapons program,” the military added.
