Thousands march against the legal reform in the center of Tel Aviv.

A column of protesters is moving along Ibn Gvirol Street, traffic in the city center is blocked.

This is the fifth mass rally against the government of Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned legal reform in the country.

On January 4, newly appointed Justice Minister Yariv Levin unveiled a plan to reform the Israeli legal system, a bill that would strip the Supreme Court of certain powers, give parliamentarians the right to challenge Supreme Court decisions, and control the ruling coalition over the procedure for appointing judges.
