TNT’s ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ starts its final season

TV series ’Rizzoli & Isles’ is about to start its final chapter on TNT. The crime drama will say good-bye to its watchers, this season is the last one. Actually, for TNT it is the most-watched TV show, says an Executive producer Jan Nash.

TNT’s crime drama ’Rizzoli & Isles’ is going to end because of rebranding the channel’s vision. Next year TNT will focus on more edgier series, like thriller ‘Animal Kingdom’ with Ellen Barkin as a mafia boss. Another new TV series is ‘Good Behavior’ with Michelle Dockery will entertain watchers this summer.

According to TNT’s management, fresh summer TV shows will depict more flawed characters than ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ sweety ones. In other words, do-gooder is not so popular for watcher nowadays; they’d prefer to watch the mafia boss’ life with Ellen Barkin, for example.

’Rizzoli & Isles’ executive producer Jan Nash noted that the final episodes will take advantage of the fact that “we do get to say goodbye”. After final season quantity of episodes will count 105 ones – it’s very impressive, says TNT chief Kevin Reilly.
