Turkey has no plans to go to war with Greece, Erdogan says

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said his country is not planning a war with Greece, but Athens is violating Turkish airspace.

“We do not have such a problem to start a war with Greece. But Greece is not behind its words. They violated the airspace 147 times. How will we live in the neighborhood? What should we do? My Air Force answers. What will my citizens say if Won’t the Air Force answer? Will they ask where our Air Force is?” Erdogan told reporters after Friday prayers.

According to him, a number of leaders are trying to reconcile Turkey and Greece.
“We said that we are not considering this yet,” Erdogan stressed.
