Turkish base hit by heavy rocket fire in Syria

After the Turkish leader’s statements about his readiness to respond to attacks by pro-Iranian groups, one of the Turkish bases in the Aleppo region was fired upon with numerous missile strikes. Rocket strikes led to a fire, which resulted in the death of servicemen and damage to military equipment.

A photo dated August 27 appeared online, showing the aftermath of an attack on a military base located in the village of Kafr Janna.

According to preliminary information, one of the reasons for the strikes was the appearance of armed militants at the base, who were sent by Turkey to conduct attacks.

Ankara did not comment on the incident.
